P.D. AGROPROCESSORS Largest Defaulter of NSEL

Haryana based P. D. Agroprocessors Pvt. Ltd, is a sister concern of Dunar Foods Ltd. Dunar Group is located at Karnal, Haryana. Dunar Foods has rice manufacturing plants at Karnal and Amritsar. Dunar Foods Ltd, which owns the the brand was launched in 1956, but the brand itself was only launched in 2008 in the domestic market and in 2011 in the international market.

Surendra Gupta, Managing Director along with Sheetal Gupta, Abhimanyu Veer Atri, Ranjeev Aggarwal are the other directors of  P. D. Agroprocessors Pvt. Ltd. P. D. Agro, largest defaulter in NSEL Exchange. According to media reports, P. D. Agro had traded on the exchange on behalf of Dunar Foods Ltd, Dulisons Cereals and Dulisons Foods. They have a payment obligation of  Rs. 637.49 crores. According to the sources, ED had even attached properties worth Rs 175 crores under the same laws against various borrower firms. During last month, agency attached Dunar a rice brand promoted by P. D. Agroprocessors, under the Indian copyright and patent norms. According to Media Reports, Primezone Developers was run by Ranjeev Aggarwal, a former Chief Financial Officer of P. D. Agroprocessors Pvt. Ltd. It is a Haryana based real estate company. EOW sources highlighted how Mohan India invested around  Rs.10 crore in Primezone Developers located in Karnal, Haryana. According to reports, Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police arrested Surendra Gupta, MD of  P. D. Agroprocessors, in connection with the payment crisis at NSEL.
